Membership terms

Version 2026-09-21 · In effect from 2026-09-21

These terms cover a membership you buy from a brand on Drop Monthly, and joining a brand's waitlist. Drop Monthly sells the membership on the brand's behalf, takes the payment and is the one you have the agreement with; the brand is who you are joining. By paying for a membership you agree to these terms.

What you are buying

A membership with the brand named on the page you joined from. What it includes is what that page described when you joined. The price and how often it renews are shown on the page before you pay, and again on the payment page.

For about an hour after you join, the brand's page may tell visitors that somebody with your first name just joined. Your first name only; our privacy policy says what else we hold and why.

Some memberships open to a limited number of people. Once the spots are taken, new people are offered the waitlist instead. Joining a waitlist is free and does not commit you to buy anything.

Paying, and renewing

You pay when you join, and then again every month — or every year, if that is what the page said — on the same date, until you cancel. Each renewal is charged to the card you paid with.

Some memberships renew on one day of the month for everybody, and the page you join from says so, with the date of your first renewal, before you pay. Then your first payment, taken in full when you join, counts as the payment due on the next of those days, and your first renewal is the one after it. So your first renewal is always at least a month after you join — you are never charged twice in your first month — and never more than two. After that you are charged on that day every month.

Payments are taken by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card number goes to Stripe and never reaches our servers. A receipt is emailed to you for every payment.

If a renewal fails we will try it again, and tell you. If it keeps failing the membership ends.

Prices can change. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Cancelling

Cancel any time, online. Use Manage membership at the top of the brand's page, or the link in any receipt. Enter the email you joined with and you will be sent a link to your membership, where one button cancels it.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep the membership, and anything it includes, until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Cancelling gives up your spot. Where a membership has limited spots, yours goes to the next person waiting, and coming back means joining again — from the waitlist, if it is full by then. We do not refund the rest of a period you have already started, except where the law where you live says we must.

Things we ship

Anything a membership includes that is shipped goes to the address you gave when you paid. Delivery dates are estimates. If something arrives damaged, or does not arrive, tell us within 30 days and we will put it right.

Emails and texts

We only send you marketing emails or texts if you ticked the box for them, and each is a separate choice.

  • Emails are about the brand you joined — its drops, openings and offers. Every one has a link to unsubscribe.
  • Texts are recurring automated marketing messages about the same things, sent to the mobile number you gave. How often varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Agreeing to emails or texts is never a condition of buying anything. Receipts and messages about your own membership are sent whatever you chose.

Changes to these terms

We will post a new version here when these terms change, and tell members about anything significant by email before it takes effect.
